In the habit of making the world my home

Hi, hello! I’m a digital nomad currently based out of Washington, D.C.

Ever since I can remember, I made it my mission to see and explore the world. I pondered several avenues to make this happen: embassy work, freelancing, business… before I luckily landed on a remote job that allowed me to travel full time (and I thank the universe everyday for it).

I made it a passion to land in a new city and making a foreign place feel like home. There is no greater blessing than to learn about a place through food, kind locals, and to discover a piece of yourself that emerges in each new place. It all made sense when at 24, I found out that my name “Se-Young” means “person of the world”.

I’m not ashamed to admit that my favorite phone app is Google Maps. I obsessively explore a city through maps and find the trendiest spots, the most ambient cafes, and delicious restaurants in each city. And trust me, I have good taste.
